I am happy to be back!
This break has been due to health causes and I am glad to report being finally on the mend.
I was invited to participate in a show by the Nashville Collage Collective – and am grateful for the opportunity. The show starts Saturday night, July 8, 2017, at the Turnip Green Gallery in East Nashville from 7pm-10pm. This is part of the East Nashville Art Stumble.
There are several art crawls around town such as Downtown Nashville on the 1st Saturday, and the Downtown Franklin crawl on the 1st Friday. So East Nashville has put theirs on the 2nd Saturday. The art community is certainly growing in Nashville.
The above piece is 12″ x 9″ and is for sale for $100. 30% of the sale will go to the Turnip Green Creative Reuse center. It is a nifty place to pick up arts and craft supplies that are salvaged. Everything is orderly and sorted. It aims to get art supplies in the hands of low income people (a lot of artists fall in that category) for low cost and also to keep it out of the landfill.
Consider adding this piece to your art collection – for a great cause!
